Mikodez attempts to return the gesture, though he doesn't exactly have a cat's skill at it. "Maybe we're from the distant past even before you arrived. Bunch of humans got stranded on Earth and forgot everything and only now are remembering that they can go into space. Maybe that's why so many of the people here from Earth are weird."

He considers himself very forgiving of alien ways, despite the high chance that without the Nurse's powers those ways could involve inventive murder.
