Welcome Pizza Party!

WHAT: a welcome party for the new arrivals, with pizza and milkshakes and snacks and candy, dancing games and video games and a big banner that says 'WELCOME!' and music and balloons for everyone!

The main common room has been transformed into party central!!!

There's streamers and balloons and tons of fun and games. Haruka, Luigi, and Duck have made sure that there's a little something for everyone.

There's a food table with all kinds of snacks and candy as well as pizza with every combination of toppings you could ask for.

There's dance games out with their mats on the floor for fun and friendly competitions, and a sign that says there's a scavenger hunt for anyone interested. There's also a bunch of machines, almost like a margarita bar (but of course not!) that offer all kinds of milkshakes and slushies for anyone who'd want one. Fun, happy, upbeat pop music with bubblegum lyrics is playing just loud enough to be fun but not to give anyone a headache.

Haruka had made sure that the kitchen staff knew they wouldn't need to make dinner tonight, and they were using all paper cups and plates so no clean up! Everyone could have fun tonight!

"We just wanted to welcome you all to the Clipper! So enjoy the snacks, and have fun!"

He takes one look at the main common room...

... Annnnnnd, nope, he's out. Cloud will try to leave quickly, in hopes of nobody seeing him, but he's also not going to go all covert operation (stealth to the extreme!!!) with it. Someone's welcome to coax him back in.

...but Haruka is going to trot over, seeing his clear discomfort, and try to help!

"Hey! Are you one of the new people?"

Oh no. Cloud makes a very awkward noise in his throat as he glances around, almost as if he's hoping to be rescued, or something.

"Yyyyeah," he starts, a tense breath slowly released before he continues, "That's me. I'm... Cloud."

There's a bit of shuffling like he half-wants to just sprint away, immediately.

Sephiroth is right behind Cloud, so leaving won't be easy. Not that Sephiroth is really attempting to keep him there but he's pretty massive and kind of in the way.

... He does kind of agree with Cloud's sentiment of this party though.

"We should see who shows up."

Zack would be attracted to this sort of thing.

Cloud's making a face up at him, not hiding the fact that he's considering the possibility of just shoving Sephiroth out of the way. Something that may or may not be fueled by the no-violence rule, as well as the missing Zack.

With a sigh, he shakes his head, turning and finding a nice spot on the wall to lean against. At first, he remains quiet, the only response in the form of him stuffing his hands into his pants pockets. While he can't read Sephiroth's mind, he knows who they're thinking about. And, despite the memories that are still missing, he still has feelings he can't shake. Moments where he's so sure of something, despite not knowing why. For instance:

"... He would've found us by now."

Sephiroth would welcome Cloud to try it. He has no problems with breaking into a fight with him ... even if they are both lacking their proper weapons. But since Cloud decides not to, he follows him instead taking a spot beside him.

"Perhaps, unless he does not know we are here."

Though Zack isn't the type to give up easily. He probably would have found them by now. So that means he's probably not here ... so then where is he?

With a quick shake of his head.

"The other people from the Barge would've said something, though, right?"

... He doesn't want to think about some of the reasons Zack could be here, and completely unaware and known about. Cloud makes a frustrated face, looking off to the side for a moment.

"Yunlan said there were three ships... So, if he isn't here, that'd mean he's on one of the other two. Maybe he's already looking for us."

Three ships. It is possible Zack is on one of the others. But how would they know or even find out?

"There has to be a way to communicate with the other vessels."

Not that either of them know where that is, or how to do it. The Nurse probably does, but that also doesn't seem like an easy task.
