The main common room has been transformed into party central!!!

There's streamers and balloons and tons of fun and games. Haruka, Luigi, and Duck have made sure that there's a little something for everyone.

There's a food table with all kinds of snacks and candy as well as pizza with every combination of toppings you could ask for.

There's dance games out with their mats on the floor for fun and friendly competitions, and a sign that says there's a scavenger hunt for anyone interested. There's also a bunch of machines, almost like a margarita bar (but of course not!) that offer all kinds of milkshakes and slushies for anyone who'd want one. Fun, happy, upbeat pop music with bubblegum lyrics is playing just loud enough to be fun but not to give anyone a headache.

Haruka had made sure that the kitchen staff knew they wouldn't need to make dinner tonight, and they were using all paper cups and plates so no clean up! Everyone could have fun tonight!

"We just wanted to welcome you all to the Clipper! So enjoy the snacks, and have fun!"

Haruka gives her a bright smile, glad to see Kyoko deciding to join in. She saw the... incident earlier.

"If you know how they work, I wouldn't think so! They're just like the ones in the arcades, but without the guard rail."

She nods before grinning slightly. "I'm great at those. Want me to kick your butt?"

She grins, playfully naive.

"I'm up for it if you are," she says with a little bounce.

"I'll kick your ass," Kyoko nods, competitive spirit slowly seeping into her being. She walks over to the dance machines and picks out the one she'll be using.

"You can pick the song first."

She frowns a little, and almost looks like she might argue, before she nods and goes to pick her usual standby.

She pauses before getting on the pad, then gives a grin and hops up as the music starts.

...it might have been a few years now, but she hasn't forgotten this. One does not ever stop being the champion of the Princess League and reigning queen of the Sotenbori dance battle scene, after all.

She's actually pretty good.

Fortunately, so is Kyoko, a homeless little gremlin who spends a lot of her free time at the arcade. There's a wide grin on her face as she matches Haruka's steps, giving back as good as she's getting. Kyoko can tell that it's going to end up with either them tying or Haruka winning but the score being damn close.

Hopefully this has one of the songs she knows on here. Kyoko is absolutely aware that Haruka has the home field advantage with this song that she's never heard before. Next round they can level the playing field.

Definitely! Haruka's been the new girl in Sotenbori before, so she's got no objections to switching things up. But when the first song ends, she finds herself leaning over to giggle.

"Nice one! You're really good."

"Course I'm good," Kyoko says, giving Haruka a shithead grin. "I spent a lot of time practicing back home. It's one of my hobbies and one of my favorite things to do ta just blow off some steam."

Aside from fighting. Which, as far as she can tell, isn't gonna happen here.
